Welcome to Shield HIV Support and Training Services
Shield’s support centre is located in Sheffield city centre but it extends its outreach services including outreach sessions, activity programmes and one to one home support . It also delivers an excellent Education and Training Programme
Shield’s aim is to support people to maintain their independence and delivers free activities addressing all aspects of health and social care including a mixed social session, men’s drop in, women’s group, home/hospitals visits, gym facilities, clinic outreach, counseling, food/toiletry hampers, hardship, complementary therapies and many more. Our clients all have an Individual Support Plan which assesses their needs and we can then tailor the support needed around this
Shield welcomes anyone living with HIV, friends and families. Clients are welcome to drop in during session’s times and we ask that clients make appointments at all other times to ensure staff is available.

VOLUNTEER for SHIELD: Help with support services, personal trainer to offer advice and deliver group exercise sessions, General assistance is required at Support sessions.Fundraising would you like to get involved and raise funds whilst raising awarness for HIV.
