pitsmoor citizens advice
Pitsmoor Citizens Advice Bureau is a long standing local resource. It provides advice in Welfare Rights, Employment, Debt, Consumer and Legal areas. The CAB operates a weekly advice service at Shield on Wednesday between 11.00 – 12.00 am . This service is manned by Charles Sharp.
Charles is the Co-ordinator of the Pitsmoor Citizens Advice Bureau Home Visiting Project, funded by The Big Lottery. He was born and raised in Sheffield. Having studied at the University of Sheffield, Charles has an Honours degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in human nutrition. He has worked in Cognitive and Medical research, been a software designer and worked for the Civil Service before coming to the CAB in 2000. He now enjoys the challenge of being part of such an exciting and rewarding enterprise, and hopes to be able to help Shield, and its future projects, to build on its early successes and become a valuable asset to the local HIV community.
